Colorful Butterfly

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I am up with another card with Inspired by Stamping's free card front.
I simply printed it off and colored it using the zig clean color markers, and used a water brush to blend in the colors.
I then added splatters using a distress ink, and then dry embossed the butterfly panel partially from the top, leaving the sentiment part plain.
Added a purple twine, and a few jewels to finish off the card.

Shimmery Sunflower

Hi friends, I hope the week has started on a good note for everyone.
At my end, darling daughter is walking to school without the crutches, she was off cast at home. But she wants to wear it to school for this week. We will be seeing her doctor this weekend and see if he recommends to stop the cast, ans wear the protective ankle brace. She did wear this protective brace and went out with me over the weekend, the good thing is that the brace can be wore with a normal shoe, which would keep her feet at same level.

Ok, lets move to the card.
I have used another free card front  from Inspired By Stamping  Newsletter, Joanna had provided 4 beautiful images as freebies.

This one is a bright and cheery sunflower.
After printing the card front, I used Marsgraphic 3000 duo markers and Faber Castell brush Markers  to color the flower and leaves, also the butterfly. I added wink of stella to the sunflower, and glossy accent to the butterfly, for got to click the picture of the gloss, but its there, trust me 😅
A few jewels and a gold strip at the bottom to finish off.

Forever Grateful

Happy Monday peeps.

I am up with a simple card, which I made a while ago.
I had used the wild hibiscus set from Altenew and stamped the flowers in distress ink - worn lipstick and used Pink Marsgraphic marker from Staedtler to add color. The leaves are stamped inn SU wild wasabi.
The sentiment is heat embossed using a silver EP on black strip, and I edges the panel with a checkered green chipboard strip.
Added a splatters of the distress ink, and a few sequins from Pretty Posh to finish off. I also added a chipboard strip at the very bottom

Uniko Challenge #41

Hey all, its time for a new challenge at Uniko today.
The challenge is Masculine with an optional twist of Father's day.

I chose a blue textured card base and white front for it, the balloons are stamped in SU inks, and used a grey ink to stamp the strings, the sentiment is also stamped in SU ink
Rounded the corner and added some starts to finish off the card, a very simple card today.

Do visit the blog to see more from our DT and Guest Designer, there is plenty of inspiration!

Circle Shaker Card

 * Top 3 at CAS on Sunday

Happy Friday peeps.

This card was sitting on my mind for the last few days.
I finally made it yesterday! I die cut the circle card using WeRMemory keepers nestled circle dies, I sponged the base using the yellow and orange shades of distress inks. I then added a house die cut from Paper Smooches in black on the base.
I stamped the sentiment on acetate using a black Archival ink from Rangers, it is from Paper Smooches - Summer Lovin' set.
I then added the left out small bits of windows from the house die cuts in black and some white sequins to create the shaker.

Brand new Challenge at Calling all Sistahs - #1

Hi blogger friends, I announced a few days back about this challenge when I was revealing my design team at the Calling all Sistahs by CASual Friday Stamps.

We will be providing picture inspirations with color chips.
Players can use the color chips or draw inspiration from the photo, or both to create an encouragement card with no product and no genre restrictions. It could be for someone who was just diagnosed, going through treatment, recovering from any sort of illness or surgery, going through a rough time in a relationship or job, or experiencing a crossroads in life. There are a bazillion reasons that we might need to make an encouragement card to let someone know we are thinking of them, and that will be the main focus of this new challenge.

Prize :  You are playing for $25 to the CASual Friday Stamps store, if you use CFS products then the prize will be doubled.
 Isn't it a lovely inspiration?

I made a simple one layer card,I used the sets : Truth is and pretty posies for this.
Stamped the flower in a navy shade and colored using zig clean color marker. Then used the Stencil from Winnie&walter to ink in a light blue shade distress ink - tumbled glass.
A blue chipboard strip and a few jewels to finish off.

Here comes the Sun

Hey all, its Thursday already, the week is flying. I am also on a countdown to the no.of school days left. Actually counting the no.of days I need to send lunch. We have a month and half more to go to finish this academic year.
Another great relief is that my daughter's cast can be off next week onwards, she can walk freely around the house without the cast, but will need to wear when she has a lot of walking to do outside the home. The doctor has told she can do that 23rd onwards, and her birthday is on the 25th, so I am happy for here, and she can start the physiotherapy next week on. So we will be even more busy with that.

Ok, to my card now. You might have seen on  my Instagram the watercoloring practice I posted yesterday, I used one of the flowers from that.
I fussy cut the magnolia stamp, an used a textured green base and a white front for the card. I use Hero Arts Neon Sunshine ink on Memory box shine stencil to ink up a bit. Added the flowers to the side, and stamped the  sentiment from the same set. Both the flower and sentiment are from Inspired By Stamping - Magnolia set.
A few jewels to finish off, and rounded one corner.

Calling all Sistahs Reminder

Hey all, its the 17th and we are up with the reminder post at the new blog Calling All Sistahs by CASual Fridays Stamps.
Remember to check yourself against breast cancer, its more important than you might think it is.

I have used the CAS(Calling all sistahs) line of stamps from CASual Fridays to make this card.
I used the pink in from Altenew to stamp the hope ribbon and did partial fussy cutting at the bottom. The base is sponged using a horizontal mask with distress ink hickory smoke. I split up the one line sentiment in parts to add to my card. I didn't cut the stamp, but just stamped the parts I wanted to stamp on that particular line.
Finished off with Pretty Posh Sequins exclusively designed for CAS, its a limited edition item.
